At present, there are nearly 400 enterprises in the new energy vehicle industry chain in the city, covering key components such as the core "three electric" systems, chassis systems and electronic devices of new energy vehicles, and have strong technical and competitive advantages. Among them, CRRC Times Electric Automobile Division last year with an output value of more than 1.1 billion yuan, ranking among the leading enterprises in the electric drive system industry, has achieved rapid growth in the first half of this year.
In the field of basic supporting parts, Zhuzhou has basically achieved full coverage, with 38 related backbone enterprises, mainly including lightweight, shock and noise reduction materials, battery raw materials and body parts.

On March 30, F&C Green Energy started construction of 250,000 sets of new energy vehicle drive motors and powertrain projects in Tianyuan District, with a total investment of about 653 million yuan, committed to providing the most advanced technology and products in the field of power conversion and electronic motion control.
On August 1, CRRC electric drive related projects with an investment of more than 800 million yuan were officially approved, which will promote the development of new energy passenger vehicle electric drive industry and create the core advantages of the whole industry chain of "devices + components + systems" of new energy passenger vehicle electric drive.

On April 17, one of the top ten technical research projects in Hunan Province, the "Key Technologies of Deep Sea Ultra-high Power Direct Drive Permanent Magnet Offshore Wind Turbines" project was launched in Zhuzhou, focusing on the research of key technologies such as environmental adaptability technology, simulation technology and process technology of deep offshore wind turbines, which will effectively promote the maturity and scale development of the offshore wind power industry chain.
On June 4, CRRC Zhuzhou Electric developed a 10MW high-speed permanent magnet wind turbine successfully passed the test, and all performance indicators met the design requirements, which is the largest high-speed permanent magnet wind turbine in China at present, and is the main model in the future deep sea field.
